The Bullet consists of a cylinder of 36,876m long by 4,572m ID with two truncated semi-spherical ends so that the overall length is 41,184m.
By Calculation, the volume is 576m3
The working pressure was given variously as between 16 and 17 bar, and as 14 bar. This will vary according to the ambient temp.
Theoretically the bullet is designed for 350 Tons but not utilized beyond 86% or 301 Tons.
The density of ammonia liquid at -79%c is 0.817 t/m3 and the gas phase at ambient is 0,5971 times as dense air.
This means that the bullet will contain 376m3 liquid and 200m3 gas when holding about 300 tons ammonia.
